OCTOBER MADE BLUE

The hospitality industry is closed again and that has a major impact on a large group of our ambassadors. So we keep our fingers crossed that we will get the virus under it and will soon be able to work hard again on our joint mission. In the meantime we are certainly not sitting still. Just look at what happened in October.

A nice message from Vietnam where people are working very hard. The actual construction of the water system is about to begin now that all stakeholders have committed and the training courses are well underway. Read more here …

L'Oreal installeerde 6 waterkoelers van Made Blue op kantoor en doneert zo 6 miljoen liter schoon drinkwater per jaar.

“These coolers are much more durable than bottled water, which normally involves a lot of transport and waste. In addition, L’Oréal provides 6,000,000 liters of clean drinking water in developing countries with 6 machines.”

L’Oreal Netherlands has recently installed no fewer than 6 Made Blue water coolers in the office and is happy with that. That is why they also made this beautiful post on LinkedIn

Every now and then we are just surprised with a beautiful custom design print on our bottles. Like these bottles at Galerie POP in Domburg. Aren’t they great? Did you know that some of our hospitality ambassadors also sell our bottles?

The Dutch drink more and more water and more often with a taste. Sales of the total water category increased by no less than 37% between 2011 and 2019 and ‘Flavored Water’ plays a major role in this. We have listed the numbers for you here …

The hospitality industry is closed again and that means for us that we can make less impact, while that is particularly urgently needed now. How can you wash your hands without clean drinking water? Read here what corona means for the developing countries in which we work.

Lolo Amsterdam serveert het beste water voor de wereld, MADE BLUE

Lolo Amsterdam will soon open its doors at the Oudekerksplein in the Red Light District in Amsterdam. The Younique Concepts team (known from Pesca, among others) was offered the property in the middle of the crisis and decided to go for it. After months of renovation, Lolo Amsterdam opens as soon as possible. Expect an extravagant interior, from a fountain to champagne bar, from classic Italian to burlesque and the best water for the world of course.

It’s almost Black again, no Blue Friday! Are you going all out that weekend? Take a look at Kings of Indigo because there you not only buy the best jeans, but also 100,000 liters of clean drinking water. Does that actually fit in the parcel deliverer’s van?

We are regularly asked how we ensure that the water supplies that we install continue to work. You can find the detailed answer to that here. In short: information, training, local committees and a maintenance spot. That it works is now also apparent from hard figures: The Water Institute of the University of Carolina investigated which facilities were still active after 20 years. As it turned out, our implementation partner World Vision scored 100%. Read the report here.

Will we ever go back to full weeks in the office or will it stay just a few days a week? If you go then, it must be a party … That is why there is now a pampering package for offices from our ambassador Jetdrinks. Every month you will receive a package with various special snacks and you will also receive a Made Blue water cooler for chilled, sparkling and hot water. Then everyone wants to come back to the office, right? Email us for more information.

November will be a beautiful month for us. We are about to launch a new concept together with Klepierre at Hoog Catharijne. Stay tuned on Facebook or LinkedIn to be the first to hear what we’re going to do.
