Coffee-Star
Coffee-Star
Coffee-star offers a high-quality catering concept in which coffee plays a central role. They are located in offices, schools, hospitals, museums and many other places. Sustainability is important to Coffee-star. Nearly all their products are fair trade or organic. Their contribution to Made Blue fits in perfectly. Every cup of coffee served equals a donation to clean drinking water for all. Because you never drink a cup of coffee alone!

You never drink coffee on your own
Coffee-star can be found in Dutch libraries, universities and museums as an in-house food & coffee café. Independently or as subcontractors, they stand out at these locations where they excel in quality, sustainability and hospitality.
They have supported Made Blue’s mission since 2024 by donating 20 litres of water per kilo of coffee beans consumed. This way every cup of coffee served is matched by the same amount of clean drinking water elsewhere. At Coffee-star, you never drink alone. Cheers!

A green cup of joe
Coffee-star is committed to contributing to a sustainable future in countless ways. Their coffee beans are purchased, roasted, transported and served 100% circularly. Plant-based milk is the standard, bringing your own coffee cup is encouraged, sugar is poured from an old-fashioned jar instead of a ‘single-use’ container, and where possible vegan chocolate is used in their delicious snacks. They also work with local suppliers, including some with social employment, and Coffee-star contributes to the happiness of their employees by offering them strong employment conditions. All this makes for a delicious cup of coffee!

One litre for one litre
In our program One litre for one litre you can convert the water saving or water consumption of your product, service or organization into an equal amount of litres of clean drinking water in developing countries. Choosing a selection of customers or donating more litres is also an option. Transparency is paramount and we are happy to help you communicate about it!
