What does it take to join?

We make clear promises to all of our ambassadors: such as every donation of 30 cents delivering at least 1,000 litres of clean drinking water in developing countries.

Together we decide which product, service or part of your organization you want to link to our story: one litre for one litre. This can go any direction as you can read in the many stories of our ambassadors we’re sharing here.

Of course you may count on our support in helping decide how much water is saved or used in relation to your product and service… and how much water we’ll be making available in developing counties accordingly. Curious on how that works? Find out here!

Product

I-Team Global calculated the water savings of itsi–mop machine compared to the traditional ‘bucket and mop’ method and donates those litres to MADE BLUE.

Service

Ambius provides project landscaping for office organizations, Ambius mirrors all the water used for these services, to invest in our water projects.

Per customer

i-did makes fantastic products from recycled fabrics thus saving a lot of water. The customer is given the choice to pass this water on to MADE BLUE projects.

Organisation

Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods produces milk powder based on fresh Dutch milk. A lot of water is evaporated during this process, this water is made available again in countries where water is urgently needed.

How is the money spent?

20 CENTS FOR WATER

20 out of every 30 Eurocents received are immediately set aside to invest in access to clean water in developing countries.

For example used to drill for water (at great depth), construct pipelines and install water tanks and taps. In all cases, we deliver clean drinking water to those places on earth where it is most needed.

ADDING MORE IMPACT

10 CENTS FOR MORE IMPACT

The remaining 10 Eurocents are being invested in communication, innovation and adding even more impact it to our work. A small part is reserved for covering core costs such as administration, certification and support to our donors.

COST EFFICIENT

From a donation of 25 million litres per donor per year, additional funds received are fully spent on providing more clean water. We are working as efficient as possible while able to deliver on our promise… and even a bit more.

NO ADDITIONAL COSTS ?

We have a fair use policy: we support communication free of charge as much as possible, in proportion to the size of the annual donation. In some cases, we might ask for additional support for us to be able to better help you in working with MADE BLUE.

Of course we offer a wide range of communication materials for free to enable you to start communicating about our partnership quick and easy.

Costs for extra stuff in print, custom designs or (for example) externally produced materials are borne by the ambassador.
